Harold Calvo was inducted into the Sporting AZ FC Hall of Fame, and presented with his number 20 jersey Saturday night at halftime of the club's 4-1 victory over MSC United.
An alumnus of Mesa High School, South Mountain Community College, and Kansas Weslyan, Harold played with the former Arizona Sahuaros United Soccer League club of the late 1990’s, collecting myriad goal scoring and player of the week accolades during his career. Harold’s coaching resume in Arizona spans over 12 years in clubs such as McDowell Mountain Ranch, Arizona Inferno, Tempe Pros, Ahwatukee Foothills, and San Tan Legacy, as well as Hamilton High School.
For decades, Harold has been an active member of our Arizona soccer community, exemplifying the mission of Arizona Sahuaros and now Sporting AZ FC. We are pleased and honored to congratulate Harold Calvo as he is inducted into the Sporting AZ FC Hall of Fame, class of 2018.
